Mark Lashier, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mark Lashier is Chairman and CEO of Phillips 66, a leading integrated downstream energy provider. A chemical engineer, he has over 30 years of experience in executive leadership roles within the energy and petrochemical industries.


Lashier previously served as President and CEO of Phillips 66. Prior to his roles at Phillips 66, he was President and CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC (CPChem), a joint venture between Phillips 66 and Chevron. While at CPChem, Lashier held several leadership positions, including Executive Vice President of Olefins and Polyolefins; Senior Vice President of Specialties, Aromatics and Styrenics; Vice President of Corporate Planning and Development; Project Director for Saudi Arabia; and Regional Manager in Asia.


Lashier began his career at Phillips Petroleum as an Associate Research Engineer.


He serves on the boards of several industry groups and nonprofits, including American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, the Greater Houston Partnership, Iowa State University’s College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Council, Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer, MD Anderson Board of Visitors and the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation. Lashier also serves on the executive committee of American Petroleum Institute and is a member of the Business Roundtable, the Business Council and the National Petroleum Council.


Lashier received a Bachelor of Science and a doctorate in chemical engineering from Iowa State University. He holds 13 U.S. patents.
