Robert W. Pease is a member of the board of directors for Phillips 66. He is chair of the public policy and sustainability committee and serves on the audit and finance, nominating and governance and executive committees.

Pease has over 38 years of global industry experience. Pease most recently served in various leadership roles at Cenovus Energy, Inc. (Cenovus) and its subsidiary Cenovus Energy US LLC (CEUSL), from 2014 to 2018, including as President, Downstream of CEUSL, and, prior to that, in Executive Vice President roles at Cenovus overseeing marketing and downstream operations. Earlier in his career, Pease served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Motiva Enterprises and as President of Shell Trading (US) Co., a hydrocarbon trading and shipping company and subsidiary of Shell plc.

Pease previously served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers.

Pease earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an executive certification from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
